ABOUT THE POSITION:

Matthews Marking Systems is seeking a technical salesperson for a broad and varied role. Matthews Marking Systems is a market leader in the development and production of marking systems for industry, with products including automatic label printers and laser marking systems.

At the office in Mölndal, you will find a familiar and dynamic environment where all company functions such as development, production, purchasing, sales, and service are gathered under one roof. Together, around 55 people work to offer the market's best marking equipment with high quality and reliability.

As a technical salesperson, you will be part of a team consisting of salespeople, technical support, and service. The company is characterized by a non-prestigious working style, and you will receive thorough training where you will gradually be introduced to their products, customers, and working methods. The role requires you to be business-driven, technically interested, and relationship-building, with a clear customer focus. You will work both on acquiring new customers and further developing existing customer relationships, acting as an advisory partner to the customer.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and approaching new customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings
  • Building and developing long-term relationships with existing customers
  • Analyzing customer needs and presenting technical solutions tailored to their operations
  • Preparing quotes and participating in contract negotiations in consultation with senior colleagues or managers
  • Participating in sales and marketing activities such as trade shows, customer visits, and product demonstrations
  • Collaborating closely with technical support and service to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Updating the CRM system with customer information, business opportunities, and activities
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
  • Has a high school education, preferably with a technical or economic focus
  • Has at least 5 years of experience in selling technical products or solutions
  • Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
  • Is comfortable working in the Office suite and CRM systems

It is a merit if you:

  • Have experience or understanding of industrial processes or automation solutions
  • Have experience working with technical sales of products such as label printers and laser marking systems
